## Synopsis

Flinderella (2004-2005) is an Argentine telenovela created by Cris Morena for eltrece, a long-running soap opera that ran for 361 episodes across two seasons. Florencia Bertotti plays Florencia, an orphan singer whose life changes when she falls for Federico, a businessman played by Juan Gil Navarro. Their romance is the engine of the series, and every episode is built from the obstacles that stand between two people from very different worlds, with family rivalries, mistaken identities and social pressure adding complications along the way. Fabio Di Tomaso, Benjamín Rojas, Isabel Macedo and Lali Espósito fill out a crowded ensemble of relatives, rivals and friends. The series mixes sentimental melodrama with light comedy and musical moments, giving it a warm, breezy and sometimes wistful register. Its pace is that of a daily soap, with storylines stretched across hundreds of episodes and a steady flow of romantic reversals. Fans of Cinderella, Betty la fea and Rebelde Way will find resonance in its blend of humble heroine, class divide and heartfelt romance. The show suits viewers who enjoy long, emotional romantic stories with a family feel.
