## Synopsis

The Secret Saturdays (2008-2010) is an American animated action adventure series created by Jay Stephens for Cartoon Network. The Saturday family, led by young Zak Saturday and his sister Drew alongside their scientist father Doc Saturday, are cryptozoologists who travel the world tracking mythical creatures. Their mission is to keep the truth about cryptids hidden from the public, protecting both humanity and the creatures themselves. Each episode pits the family against schemes by the megalomaniac villain V.V. Argost, whose ambitions put the hunted beasts in danger. Spread across three seasons, the series moves through exotic field locations, shifting between expedition set pieces and mounting rivalry with its antagonists. The tone is brisk, energetic and family friendly, with a sense of wonder about legendary animals and a loyal bond between siblings and parents. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, Gargoyles and Monster Buster Club will find resonance in its blend of monster lore, globe trotting adventure and kid-friendly action.
