## Synopsis

2.5 Dimensional Seduction (2024) is a Japanese anime romantic comedy series created for TOKYO MX and produced by J.C.STAFF, based on a manga. Cosplayer Ririsa Amano (Kaori Maeda) joins the manga club of Masamune Okumura (Junya Enoki) and asks him to become her photographer, which pulls the two into a steady flow of costume shoots, convention outings and awkward school-life encounters. Alongside them, fellow club members Mikari Tachibana (Akari Kito), Nonoa (Sayumi Suzushiro) and Aria Kisaki (Sayumi Watabe) add their own rivalries and crushes, and Mayuri Hanyu (Mao Ichimichi) and Nagomi (Aya Yamane) round out the cast. The engine of each episode is the gap between two-dimensional fantasy and three-dimensional desire, as characters chase attention, costumes and confessions in a contemporary Japanese high school. Set in present-day Japan, the single 24-episode season is a light, episodic romp with fanservice-heavy comedy, playful teasing and a warm tone for viewers who enjoy anime fandom culture. Fans of My Dress-Up Darling, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Rent-a-Girlfriend will find familiar romantic comedy pleasures here.
