## Synopsis

Sky High: The Series (2023) is a Spanish crime drama series created by Daniel Calparsoro and Jorge Guerricaechevarría for Netflix. Asia Ortega plays Sole, a newly widowed single mother who refuses to stay dependent on her father, a stolen goods trafficker played by Luis Tosar as Rogelio. To keep her footing, she joins her late husband's gang of smash-and-grab thieves, led by Fernán (Álvaro Rico) and Poli (Richard Holmes), where every job pulls her deeper into a world of street-level theft and family loyalty. The engine of the show is the tension between wanting to stand alone and being pulled back into the family business, with each episode built around a new score, a tense getaway, and the fallout that follows. Shot in a gritty contemporary Spanish urban setting, it carries a tense, gritty, morally gray tone, with a hard-edged atmosphere where danger and desperation keep rising. Across seven episodes of one season, the story moves quickly and stays focused on Sole's struggle to build a life without her father's shadow. Fans of Money Heist, Vis a Vis and Narcos will find resonance in its blend of criminal ambition, family conflict, and high-stakes Spanish crime drama.
