## Synopsis

Triptych (2023) is a Mexican mystery thriller series created by Leticia López Margalli for Netflix. Maite Perroni plays Rebecca Fuentes, a woman who learns she was separated at birth from two identical sisters and is pulled into a dangerous hunt for the truth after she is called to a crime scene where the shot victim looks exactly like her. Her search pushes her through a web of secrets, hidden identities and shifting alliances, and each episode peels back another layer of a conspiracy in which no one can be fully trusted. Supporting performances from David Chocarro, Flavio Medina, Nuria Bages and Ofelia Medina add to the tangle of family ties and loyalties surrounding her. Told as a single eight-episode run of roughly forty-three minutes each, the show moves with brisk, escalating momentum, rewarding close attention with cliffhangers and reversals. Its tone is tense, paranoid and unsettling, with a grounded contemporary Mexican setting and a psychological edge. Fans of Orphan Black, with its doppelganger premise and clone conspiracies, will find much to savor, as will admirers of puzzle-box thrillers like Dark.
