## Synopsis

Bed Friend (2023) is a Thai television miniseries created by littlebbear96 for ONE 31, adapted from a novel. Two rival coworkers, King (Siraphop Manithikhun) and Uea (Supamongkon Wongwisut), stumble into an unexpected hook-up and agree to keep their arrangement strictly physical. Their plan is simple: no commitments, no complications, and no feelings. Each episode of this ten-episode run tests that fragile deal as workplace friction, late-night encounters and personal histories press on both men. Supporting characters including Jade (Pharinyakorn Khansawa), Gun (Teetut Chungmanirat) and Bas (Sorntast Buangam) orbit the central pair and add loyalty, jealousy and advice. Flashbacks reveal the difficult family backgrounds that shape how each man guards his heart. The tone is intimate and aching, with moments of sensual tension balanced by quieter, wistful scenes. Set in a contemporary Thai urban workplace, the series is a slow burn romance with heavier emotional undercurrents. Fans of Friends with Benefits and Heartstopper will find resonance in its mix of playful rivalry and tender vulnerability. Its adult content is explicit, and the emotional weight lands hardest in its second half.
