## Synopsis

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993-1994) is an American network western comedy adventure created by Jeffrey Boam and Carlton Cuse for FOX. Bruce Campbell stars as Brisco County, Jr., a tough cowpoke, ladies' man and Harvard-educated smarty-britches who roams from San Francisco to Jalisco hunting the outlaws who killed his father. Julius Carry plays his sidekick Lord Bowler, and Christian Clemenson plays Socrates Poole, while Comet, a horse who is convinced he is an intellectual, rides along as a scene-stealing companion. Brisco's engine is twofold: avenge his father and chase a mysterious orb that holds out-of-this-world powers, while outlaws, schemers and gadgets of questionable origin get in the way. The single season of twenty-seven episodes is built around self-contained case-of-the-week escapades that also keep the orb mythology humming.
