## Synopsis

The Night Manager is a Hindi-language Indian miniseries adapted from the John le Carre novel and produced for Disney+ Hotstar. Aditya Roy Kapur plays Shantanu Sengupta, a hotel night manager whose quiet position of access makes him the only obstacle to a dangerous arms dealer. Anil Kapoor plays Shailendra Rungta, a powerful figure whose world intersects with his, while Sobhita Dhulipala plays Kaveri Dixit, a woman caught between loyalties and secrets. The engine is a steady man who must decide how far to go to expose a merchant of violence, while each episode tightens the net around him with calculated risks and fragile alliances. Told across seven episodes, the story unfolds as a single continuing arc rather than cases of the week. Set in contemporary India and its luxury hotel world, the series carries a tense, watchful atmosphere, a sense of rising dread, and the cool pressure of institutions and money. Viewers who enjoy spy thrillers with moral ambiguity, in the vein of Homeland and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, will find resonance in its slow-building suspense and layered deception.
