## Synopsis

The Family (Aile) is a Turkish crime drama created by Hakan Bonomo that follows Aslan Soykan, the shrewd and guarded head of a large family running a nightclub, and Devin, a psychologist who enters his closed world and becomes entangled in its intensity. Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Serenay Sarıkaya anchor the story, with Nur Sürer, Nejat İşler and Canan Ergüder playing clan members whose loyalties and rivalries shape the household. Told as one continuing serialized story across two seasons, each episode tightens the pressure around Aslan and those drawn into his orbit. Its engine is the uneasy closeness between a clinician and a man who guards everything he owns, alongside the shifting power inside a family that conducts its business in nightclub backrooms. The tone is tense, brooding and emotionally charged, with romantic undercurrents running beneath the crime plot. Viewers who enjoy Turkish melodrama and dark family sagas such as Peaky Blinders will find a familiar pull of loyalty, secrecy and ambition here.
