## Synopsis

Nature (1982-2026) is an American public television documentary series broadcast on PBS, a long-running wildlife and natural history program that has produced dozens of seasons. Each episode carries viewers to far-flung locations, from the torrid African plains to the chilly splendours of Antarctica, following animals and ecosystems across the globe. Narrated by a steady voice and hosted by George Page, the series takes a patient observational approach, letting its camera linger on the daily lives of creatures, the rhythms of their habitats, and the fragile balance of the environments they share. Rather than a single storyline, the show is built from self-contained episodes, each a portrait of a place or a species. The tone is reverent and wondrous, with a gentle, educational register that suits family viewing and classroom use. Themes of conservation, biodiversity, and humanity's connection to the natural world run quietly beneath the footage. Fans of Planet Earth, The Blue Planet, and Cosmos will find the same blend of awe and science here. Its steady presence across four decades makes it a familiar, comforting fixture for viewers who love animals, landscapes, and learning about the planet.
