## Synopsis

Dark Wolf (2025-present) is an American military action thriller series created by Jack Carr and David DiGilio for Prime Video, and a prequel to The Terminal List. Taylor Kitsch stars as Navy SEAL Ben Edwards, who finds himself entangled in the black operations side of the CIA, while Tom Hopper plays Raife Hastings, a fellow operator whose loyalty is tested alongside him. Robert Wisdom appears as Jed Haverford, and Dar Salim as Mo Farooq, adding layers of intelligence intrigue to each mission. The engine of the show is Ben's struggle: the deeper he goes into the gray, the harder it becomes to resist his darker impulses, and each episode is built around covert missions, shadowy handlers and dangerous betrayals. The story unfolds across two seasons and fifteen hour-long episodes, following one continuing arc rather than standalone cases. Its tone is brooding, tense and gritty, with a sober focus on the cost of violence and the moral erosion of a man who was once a disciplined soldier. Fans of Jack Ryan, Strike Back and Banshee will find resonance in its grounded espionage, hard-edged action and morally compromised protagonist.
