## Synopsis

A Bloody Lucky Day (2023) is a South Korean crime thriller miniseries created by Pil Gam-seong for tvN. Lee Sung-min plays Oh Taek, an ordinary taxi driver whose routine fare turns into a nightmare when his customer proves to be a serial killer. Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Jung-eun, and Jeong Man-sik round out the principal cast as the people drawn into the tangle of police pursuit and personal danger. The engine of the ten-episode run is the cramped, claustrophobic drive itself: a man trying to survive a single long ride with a murderer while navigating the consequences of every choice he makes. Its episodes are built around tense confrontations, shifting alliances, and the slow realization of how far the danger extends beyond the back seat. Shot in the mood of a Korean crime drama, the series leans on a dark, edgy atmosphere, though reviewers found its tone uneven. Fans of Taxi Driver, Memories of Murder and The Chaser will find resonance in its gritty urban unease and its portrait of an everyman caught in a predator's orbit. The series is a self-contained, single-season story told in ten hour-long episodes.
