## Synopsis

Flex X Cop (2024-2026) is a South Korean crime comedy-drama series created by Lee Ok-gyu for SBS. Chaebol heir Jin I-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) joins the police force with more money than sense, and his privileged swagger clashes with the grit of a hard-nosed detective, Lee Gang-hyun (Park Ji-hyun). Together they chase criminals through Seoul, using his family's wealth and his own quick wit to crack cases that ordinary investigators cannot reach. The engine of the show is the uneasy partnership between an entitled outsider and a seasoned officer, with each episode built around a fresh investigation that mixes tense action with sharp, goofy humor. Jung Eun-chae and Kim Myung-soo round out the principal cast. The series runs across two seasons and thirty episodes, shaped as an episodic run of crime cases with a steady thread of character growth. Its tone sits between breezy irreverence and genuine crime-thriller tension, with flashes of warmth in the partnerships. Set in contemporary South Korea, it offers a glossy take on wealthy privilege meeting street-level policing. Viewers who enjoy Magnum, P.I. and Psych will find a similar blend of charm, banter and case-solving.
