## Synopsis

Pokémon Horizons (2023-present) is a Japanese animated adventure series created for TV Tokyo and produced by OLM, a family-friendly entry in the long running Pokémon franchise. Follow Liko (Minori Suzuki) and Roy (Yuka Terasaki) as they travel the world by airship, piecing together the mysteries surrounding their own past while meeting Friede, Captain Pikachu and Amethio (Shun Horie). Each episode is built around a new stop, a new Pokémon encounter, or a clash with rivals, and the story gradually reveals more about the larger puzzle that binds the two young protagonists together. Friendship, curiosity and the thrill of exploration drive the narrative, and the atmosphere stays bright, warm and playful, with plenty of wonder at unfamiliar landscapes. The series runs for a single season of 155 episodes and suits younger viewers and longtime fans alike. Fans of Pokémon the Series, Digimon Adventure and Avatar: The Last Airbender will find a similar blend of gentle peril, camaraderie and journeying through a vivid fantasy world.
