## Synopsis

The Perfect Couple (2024) is an American limited series created by Jenna Lamia for Netflix, adapted from the novel by Elin Hilderbrand. Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson) is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket, the Winburys, when a shocking death derails the wedding and turns everyone into a suspect. Nicole Kidman plays matriarch Greer Garrison Winbury, while Liev Schreiber, Billy Howle, and Meghann Fahy fill out a household where every relationship hides a grudge. Across six episodes, the engine is simple and gripping: each character has a reason to want the victim gone, and each hour peels back another layer of marital betrayal, old money pressure, and private shame. The story unfolds in a tight, glossy present on a Massachusetts island, where luxury estates and sunlit harbors contrast with the menace underneath. The tone is tense and soapy, with a sly, knowing edge. Fans of Big Little Lies, The Undoing, and Knives Out will find resonance in its polished whodunit structure and its wealthy, suspicious ensemble.
