## Synopsis

Quarterback (2023-present) is a American football docuseries made for Netflix, presenting three NFL quarterbacks as themselves over the course of a single season. Cast members Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow appear among a larger roster of starting passers, including Marcus Mariota, Jared Goff and Baker Mayfield, whose weeks of practice, film study, injury worries and game-day tension form the engine of each episode. The central pull is the question of whether one season can make or break a career, as every game carries a stakes that the cameras track closely. The show runs across three seasons and twenty-two episodes of roughly fifty minutes each, with each season covering a fresh campaign rather than a single continuing narrative. Its tone mixes exhilaration with heartbreak, capturing bruised bodies, soul-crushing fumbles, agonizing defeats and pure joy in an intimate, unscripted style. Set in the present-day NFL across American stadiums and team facilities, it appeals to fans who enjoyed the intimate access of Hard Knocks, the team rivalries of Drive to Survive and the emotional arcs of The Last Dance. Viewers searching for an honest look at elite professional football will find it compelling.
