## Synopsis

FUBAR (2023-2025) is an American action comedy series created by Nick Santora for Netflix. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Luke Brunner, a veteran CIA operative who discovers that his daughter Emma Brunner (Monica Barbaro) also works secretly for the agency. Their high-stakes missions keep colliding with awkward family dynamics, as the two struggle to keep their double lives hidden from each other and from relatives at home. Supporting players Milan Carter as Barry Putt, Gabriel Luna as Boro Polonia and Fortune Feimster as Ruth Russel fill out the field team, while Travis Van Winkle and Jay Baruchel add further agency friction. The series runs two seasons of eight episodes each, with a case-by-case structure built around globe-trotting spy missions, action set pieces and domestic bickering. Its tone is breezy and irreverent, mixing bursts of action with sardonic family banter and a playful, self-aware take on aging action heroism. Viewers who enjoy fans of True Lies, Chuck and Burn Notice will find resonance in its blend of espionage spectacle and comic household chaos. Its audience reception has been mixed, with the series canceled after its second season.
