## Synopsis

Kiseki: Dear To Me (2023) is a Taiwanese drama series created by Lin Pei-yu for GTV. Top student Bai Zong-yi (Yu-Tung Lin) is a high school student whose quiet life is upended when Fan Ze-rui (Hsu Kai), an older gang member on the run from rivals, forces his way into his apartment. What begins as reluctant care for an injured man becomes an intense, lopsided bond shaped by blackmail, loyalty and the pull of the criminal world around Ze-rui. Supporting principal players include Nat Chen as Chen Yi and Louis Chiang as Ai Di, whose entanglements with the gang add pressure to the central relationship. The engine of the story is the tension between two young men who want each other but are pulled apart by organized crime, investigation and memory loss. Each episode weaves present-day tension with flashes of past choices. The thirteen-episode run is a single continuing story, a limited series with one arc. Set in contemporary Taiwan, it is a tender and melancholic romance with a bruised, bittersweet atmosphere. Fans of Given and We Best Love will find resonance in its emotional intensity and youthful heartbreak.
