## Synopsis

Ana de nadie (2023) is a Colombian soap opera series created by Bernardo Romero Pereiro and Mónica Agudelo for RCN. Paola Turbay plays Ana Ocampo Franco de Valenzuela, a dedicated wife and mother who must rebuild her life after divorcing her philandering husband, Horacio Valenzuela, played by Jorge Enrique Abello. Her engine is a fresh start that keeps colliding with family loyalties: when she meets and falls in love with a much younger man, Joaquín Cortés (Sebastián Carvajal), her children and extended family are pulled into the fallout and the future they expected dissolves. The series runs as one continuous story across a single season of 94 fifty-minute episodes, so each chapter builds on the last through confrontation, secret, and reconciliation rather than standalone cases. It is a Latin American telenovela in the classic melodramatic mold, with a domestic setting in contemporary Colombia, emotional stakes played at full volume, and a tone that mixes tenderness, betrayal, and romance. Fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea, Velvet, and Pasión de gavilanes will find resonance in its sweeping family drama and its focus on a woman defying expectations.
