## Synopsis

Mademoiselle Holmes (2024-2025) is a French crime mystery series created by Victoria Spennato for TF1. Shy police officer Charlie Holmes, played by Lola Dewaere, is a descendant of Sherlock Holmes who lives with her grandfather George Holmes (Daniel Prévost) until a car accident changes her. Her newfound energy and sharp deductive brilliance carry her into cases alongside her Watson-like partner Samy Vatel (Tom Villa), with Chris Hervieu (Thomas Jouannet) and Florence Billon (Alika Del Sol) among the principal cast. The engine of the show is Charlie learning to embrace life while solving crimes, with each episode built around a contained investigation that gives her room to test her new confidence. The series runs for two seasons of six episodes each, shaping a light, accessible puzzle format rather than a dense serial. Its tone is breezy and warm, with a mood of playful reinvention and a theme of personal transformation. Fans of Sherlock, Elementary and Lupin will find resonance in its clever detective work, eccentric heroine and playful Gallic charm.
