## Synopsis

Extreme Dinosaurs (1997) is an American syndicated animated action adventure series created for kids and distributed through syndication. Set in the present day, it follows a team of four anthropomorphic dinosaurs who were created by aliens and must stop three anthropomorphic velociraptors bent on triggering a climate cataclysm that would accelerate global warming and make Earth pleasant for dinosaurs again. The voice cast includes Blu Mankuma as Hardrock, Terry Klassen as Spittor, Lee Tockar as Haxx, and Jason Gray-Stanford as Bullzeye, with Andrew Francis, Scott McNeil, Garry Chalk, and Jacques Bourassa rounding out the principal roles. Its engine is simple good against evil: each episode builds around a new scheme by the raptors and a fast, colorful battle that the dinosaur heroes must win. The series runs a single season of 52 episodes at 22 minutes each, with a bright, boisterous tone, a rock music flavor, and a superhero structure. Fans of Biker Mice from Mars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dinosaucers will find familiar cartoon energy here.
