## Synopsis

Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss But I'm Not the Demon Lord (2024) is a Japanese anime isekai series produced by Jumondou and aired on AT-X, adapted from a light novel. College student reborn as Yumiella Dolkness (voiced by Fairouz Ai), the hidden villainess of an otome romance game, wants only a quiet, discreet life and abandons her evil duties to pursue it. Her gamer instincts keep resurfacing, and when she accidentally reaches level 99, everyone around her begins to suspect she is the infamous Demon Lord. Her supporting cast, including Alicia Ehnleit (Azumi Waki) and Edwin Valschein (Taku Yashiro), gets pulled into the misunderstandings. Across a single twelve-episode season, the show plays out as a light, comic fantasy set inside a magic school world, with episodes built on escalating mistaken identities and game-style power reveals. The tone is breezy and playful, with a warm sense of wish fulfillment about the gap between a reluctant heroine and her outsized abilities. Fans of Re:Zero, Mushoku Tensei and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will find the same isekai pleasures here.
