## Synopsis

This Greek national-television sitcom from the late 1990s follows two sharp-tongued people compelled to live under one roof while a court case decides who owns the house they share. One is a strict university professor who prizes order and routine; the other is a wildly unpredictable young woman who works at a bar and treats every rule as negotiable. The engine of the show is the daily friction between them: small domestic battles over space, money, and manners that escalate into comic set pieces. The legal dispute hangs over each episode as a reminder that neither can simply walk away. Across its run, the series builds a steady undercurrent of tension that keeps viewers asking whether all this hostility is really hatred. Its tone is breezy, witty, and warm, with a playful romantic undercurrent and an affectionate view of Athenian middle-class life. Viewers who enjoy bickering-opposites comedies in the spirit of The Odd Couple will find its pleasures familiar, especially the comedy of two people who cannot stand each other yet cannot quite separate.
