## Synopsis

Renegade Immortal (2023-present) is a Chinese donghua xianxia fantasy series produced for Tencent Video. It follows Wang Lin (voiced by Shi Zekun), an ordinary young man from the countryside with mediocre qualifications who is driven by heart and conviction to pursue cultivation. His quest is not only for longevity but also for a deeper reckoning with the hidden ants behind immortality itself. Each episode moves through trials, setbacks and hard-won breakthroughs as he gradually climbs toward the summit of the cultivation world, earning fame through his own strength and wise judgment. Supporting voices include Zhang Huilin as Li Muwan, Chang Wentao as Sitou Nan, and Bai Xuecen as Feng Luan, all drawn into the protagonist's orbit of rivals, allies and mentors. The series is a continuing 3D animated epic adapted from a web novel, with a single season of two hundred episodes so far. Its tone is earnest and sweeping, built on perseverance, sincerity and the belief that humans can rise above their limits. Fans of Soul Land, Battle Through the Heavens and Mo Dao Zu Shi will find resonance in its blend of cultivation spectacle and underdog devotion.
