## Synopsis

Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars (2004) is a US science fiction miniseries that continues the story of the cult space opera Farscape, produced for Syfy with puppetry-driven alien craft at its core. Ben Browder plays human astronaut John Crichton, a man pulled far from home whose return becomes the Peacekeeper Alliance's last hope against the Scarran Empire. Claudia Black stars as Aeryn Sun, a former soldier whose loyalties are tested as the galaxy tips toward full-scale war. Anthony Simcoe appears as Ka D'Argo, while Wayne Pygram plays the sinister Scorpius. The engine of the story is a scramble to reassemble a scattered crew and bring Crichton back before the conflict overwhelms every front. Told across two feature-length episodes of about ninety minutes each, the miniseries plays as one continuous, escalating battle rather than a case-of-the-week format. The mood mixes irreverent wit with sincere pathos and grand, sweeping spectacle. Fans of Battlestar Galactica and Firefly will find kindred pleasure in its space-bound camaraderie and its blend of humor and high-stakes adventure. Viewers who enjoy wide-canvas science fiction with quirky, handmade creatures will feel at home here.
