## Synopsis

Shararat - Thoda Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat (2003-2006) is an Indian Hindi-language family comedy with supernatural undertones, broadcast on StarPlus across a single 192-episode run of roughly 22-minute episodes. The series follows a household built around Nani, played by Farida Jalal as Sushma Malhotra, whose magical powers pass to her daughters, including Poonam Narula as Radha Malhotra and Shruti Seth as Jia Malhotra. Their everyday wishes and small schemes bend the rules of ordinary life, and the rest of the family, including Karanvir Bohra as Dhruv, must adjust to the consequences. Each episode is built from domestic situations such as misunderstandings, romantic entanglements and comic mishaps that grow out of the magic being used for personal needs. The tone is warm, playful and gently mischievous, with a comforting sitcom rhythm and a melodramatic family-drama edge typical of Indian television. Set in a contemporary Indian household, the show centers on joint family life, generational friction and affectionate sibling rivalry. Fans of Bewitched and Charmed will find resonance in its domestic magic, and viewers who enjoy Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will recognize its household drama.
