## Synopsis

McGregor Forever (2023) is a American documentary miniseries produced for Netflix, a four-episode profile of Irish mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor. The series follows McGregor himself, appearing as the principal subject, alongside his longtime coach John Kavanagh, fellow fighter Artem Lobov, and rivals Khabib Nurmagomedov, Jose Aldo and Dillon Danis, with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and commentator Ariel Helwani also appearing in interview roles. Rather than a case-of-the-week format, the story is one continuous career arc: the engine is a fighter who wants to become the UFC's biggest draw and must keep winning in the cage while managing the rivalries and trash talk that sell the fights. Each episode is built from fight footage, training camp access, and direct-to-camera reflection, so the viewer rides the momentum of each bout and the pressure around it. The tone is rousing and swaggering, with brutal strikes shown in the ring and a boastful self-mythology carried through the talking heads. Fans of The Last Dance, Formula 1: Drive to Survive and other sports docuseries built on a polarizing athlete's personality will find the same appetite for rivalry, bravado and access. Its brisk, adrenaline-driven pacing suits viewers who want a high-energy profile.
