## Synopsis

Reksio (1967-1987) is a Polish animated family series created by Lechoslaw Marszalek and broadcast on TVP1. It follows a friendly, piebald terrier named Reksio, who lives among a cast of animal companions including hens, cats and other dogs, along with their human owners. Each short episode is a self-contained adventure built from everyday mishaps, small misunderstandings and cheerful problem solving around a farmyard-style community, with no serious peril and a steady stream of gentle slapstick. The look is hand-drawn traditional cel animation produced at a studio in Bielsko-Biala, and the overall register is sweet, wholesome and childlike, the kind of comforting viewing that softens a Saturday morning. Across sixty-five episodes spanning two seasons, the show keeps its modest scale and warm simplicity, making it a natural fit for parents searching for gentle preschool entertainment. Fans of Bluey, The Pink Panther and Hey Duggee will find a similar spirit of cozy, character-driven animal comedy here, rendered with the charm of a classic European children's cartoon.
