## Synopsis

Little Faith (Poquita fe) (2023-present) is a Spanish comedy of manners series created by Pepón Montero and Juan Maidagán, produced by Buendía Estudios and broadcast on Movistar Plus. It follows José Ramón, played by Raúl Cimas, and his wife Berta, played by Esperanza Pedreño, a married couple who face a steady stream of daily frustrations and small public and private humiliations. Nobody in their lives, least of all the two of them, expects much from their marriage or from themselves, and that low expectation becomes the engine of the comedy. Each short episode of roughly fifteen minutes builds awkward, escalating situations out of ordinary routines, with a supporting ensemble that includes Chani Martín, Julia de Castro, María Jesús Hoyos, Juan Lombardero and Pilar Gómez orbiting the central pair. The series runs across two seasons and twenty episodes, with its tone sitting somewhere between wry and bleak, sharp in its observation yet affectionate toward flawed people. Its look is plain and grounded in contemporary Madrid, and its humor depends on deadpan rhythm and cringe-inducing exchanges. Fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office and Aquí no hay quien viva will find resonance in its uncomfortable, dialogue-driven take on everyday failure.
