## Synopsis

Gangs of Galicia (2024-present) is a Spanish crime drama series created by Jorge Guerricaechevarría for Netflix. When her father's murder reveals a hidden double life, a lawyer named Ana (Clara Lago) seeks revenge by infiltrating a Galician drug cartel and becoming close to its leader. Daniel (Tamar Novas) and Sandro (Julius Cotter) are among the principal figures around her, and the show's engine is the constant tension between her personal vendetta and the moral compromises required to stay inside a criminal organization. The series runs as a serialized story across two seasons and thirteen episodes of roughly forty-four minutes each, with each episode pushing the infiltration further and raising the cost of every lie. Its setting is the criminal underworld of Galicia in northwestern Spain, where rural roads, ports and family networks mix with the business of trafficking. The tone is tense and morally heavy, with a dark, cynical atmosphere and frequent violence. Fans of Narcos, Breaking Bad and La casa de papel will find resonance in its drug trade milieu, its undercover protagonist and its serialized thriller pacing.
