## Synopsis

The Marlow Murder Club (2024-2026) is a British cozy mystery series created by Robert Thorogood for U&Drama. Samantha Bond plays retired archaeologist and crossword setter Judith Potts, who becomes convinced that a brutal killing has taken place in the sleepy town of Marlow when the police refuse to believe her. Alongside her two unlikely friends, played by Jo Martin as Suzie Harris and Cara Horgan as Becks Starling, she launches a private investigation that runs on sharp observation, puzzle-minded reasoning and the everyday rivalries of a small community. Each episode builds around a fresh local death and a web of village secrets, with the friends bickering, bluffing and nosing into places they should not. Detective sergeant Tanika Malik, played by Natalie Dew, is a recurring thorn on the official side, giving the amateurs friction with the law. The tone stays breezy, witty and warm, with a lighthearted cosy atmosphere that rests on character chemistry more than gore. The show is adapted from a novel and fans of Murder, She Wrote and Midsomer Murders will find a familiar comfort in its village puzzles and amateur sleuthing. Its three seasons across fourteen episodes make it a gentle, continuing whodunit ensemble.
