## Synopsis

Zorro (2024) is a Spanish period action drama series created by Carlos Portela for Prime Video. Diego de la Vega (Miguel Bernardeau) returns to 1830s California to avenge his father's murder, and after taking up the title of Zorro he sets out against the corrupt Governor Pedro Victoria (Rodolfo Sancho), a malevolent leader of the Chinese community, and a hidden secret society. Alongside him stand Lolita Marquez (Renata Notni) and Nah-Lin (Dalia Xiuhcoatl), while Luis Tosar appears as Don Alejandro de la Vega. The engine of the show is a double life: a lordly son hiding his identity behind a black mask, slipping between frontier towns, duels, and colonial intrigue while the cost of each secret grows. Each of its ten episodes of roughly forty-eight minutes balances swordplay, gunfights, and shifting alliances against a single, continuing story of revenge and rebellion. Produced in Spanish for a Prime Video audience, it has the brisk energy of classic swashbuckling and a sincere, heroic register. Fans of The Mask of Zorro and the 1957 Zorro series will find the masked-justice spirit familiar, and viewers who enjoy Versailles will recognize its period intrigue. The single season is a self-contained arc with a defined close.
