## Synopsis

If You Love (2023) is a Turkish miniseries created by Ali Bilgin and broadcast on Kanal D, with streaming on puhutv and MBC Shahid. Its thirteen long episodes follow Leyla (Hafsanur Sancaktutan), a resilient orphan with an intense spirit who joins a team of con men to fund her search for her long-lost parents. Her path crosses with Ateş (Kerem Bürsin), the brooding and cynical scion of a wealthy family whose playboy charms she dismisses as those of another privileged snob. Fate keeps pulling them together, and Leyla's radiant personality gradually breaks through his defenses, prompting Ateş to discover a more mature side of himself. Supporting performances from Hatice Aslan as Füsun Arcalı, Şerif Erol as İlter Evcili and Mine Kılıç as Meryem Yunus add to the web of loyalties and rivalries around the couple. Each episode builds through schemes, mystery and emotional turmoil, so the story moves as one continuing arc rather than standalone cases. The result is a contemporary Turkish romance with a class-divide backbone, warm and melodramatic in tone, with the slow burn between two opposites at its heart. Fans of Kara Sevda and Kara Para Aşk will find familiar resonance in its sweeping romance and social melodrama.
