## Synopsis

Stay With Me (2023) is a Chinese boys' love drama series created by Chai Jidan and broadcast on GagaOOLala. Adapted from a novel, this single-season run of 24 episodes, each about thirty-five minutes long, follows high school student Su Yu (Zhang Jiongmin) whose quiet routine is disrupted when his aloof stepbrother Wu Bi (Xu Bin) moves into the house. Their relationship begins as open hostility, a rivalry of jabs and standoffs in the corridors and at home, and the series builds its engine from that friction: each episode lets small grievances and everyday school pressures sit alongside a growing, unspoken attachment between the two. Family tensions bring in Su Zhigang (Yang Shuo) and the wider circle of classmates, including Wu Zhenghao (Gao Ziqi) and Li Duo (Phoebe), so that friendship, loyalty and the question of what the two boys really feel for each other take shape gradually. The mood is wistful and tender, with a patient pace that lets intimacy develop over time, and the story keeps the emotional register restrained rather than rushed. The cliffhanger ending leaves the central relationship open, with youthful melancholy and blended-family warmth carrying the final episodes.
