## Synopsis

Wicked Science (2004-2006) is an Australian science fiction comedy series created by Jonathan M. Shiff. Across two seasons and 52 twenty-five-minute episodes, it follows easy-going student Toby Johnson (André de Vanny) and the teacher's pet Elizabeth Hawke (Bridget Neval) after both are struck by a unique magnetic pulse that suddenly makes them scientific geniuses. Toby wants nothing more than to get through homework and win over girls, while Elizabeth revels in her new power and schemes to dominate the school and eliminate him. Their rivalry drives the show, with each episode built from school life, experiments and gadgets colliding with the fallout of their escalating feud. Supporting characters including Russ Skinner (Benjamin Schmideg) and Sacha Johnson (Greta Larkins) round out the cast of classmates and family. The tone is playful and family-friendly, with light moral dilemmas and kid-sized stakes that never tip into darkness. Fans of Smallville, Max Steel and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch will find a similar pleasure in young characters discovering extraordinary abilities. The show offers a bright, breezy watch for younger viewers and families.
