## Synopsis

Enigma (2023) is a Thai supernatural mystery series created for Prime Video and GMM 25, a four-episode limited series. Metawin Opas-iamkajorn plays Ajin, a new teacher at a high school, while Chanikarn Tangkabodee plays Fa, a student who senses that something is wrong on campus. Strange events keep happening around her, and her investigation pushes her to ask whether Ajin is connected to them. Kanyarat Ruangrung as Namsai and Sureeyares Yakares as Yiwha round out the student circle, with Preeyaphat Lawsuwansiri as Khaohom in a supporting role. The engine of the show is simple and tense: a teenager trying to make sense of uncanny incidents while the adults around her seem to know more than they say. Each of the four episodes builds the unease gradually, using school corridors and everyday classroom routines as the stage for the eerie happenings. Set in a contemporary Thai school, the series blends a teen drama's emotional texture with the suspense of a supernatural mystery. Its tone is eerie and atmospheric, with moments of suspense and a hint of romance. Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Riverdale will find resonance in its blend of teen life and uncanny menace, and viewers of Thai youth dramas will recognise its GMMTV house style.
