## Synopsis

Suicide Squad Isekai (2024) is a Japanese-animated American adult animated series created for Hulu and Max, produced by WIT STUDIO and Warner Bros. Japan. Harley Quinn (voiced by Anna Nagase) leads a crew of notorious Gotham criminals, including Deadshot (Reigo Yamaguchi), Peacemaker (Takehito Koyasu), Clayface (Jun Fukuyama) and King Shark (Subaru Kimura), after Amanda Waller of A.R.G.U.S. (voiced by Kujira) sends them on a dangerous mission through a gate into a realm of swords and magic. The engine of the show is simple and brutal: the villains want to survive, the mission demands results, and every episode throws them into new fights with rampaging orcs, dragons and rival factions while their loyalties strain against one another. The series runs for a single ten-episode season of roughly 24 minutes each, with a serialized mission arc rather than standalone cases. Its tone is irreverent, chaotic and gleefully profane, mixing slapstick banter with bloody action and sardonic antihero bickering. Fans of Suicide Squad, KonoSuba and The Rising of the Shield Hero will find resonance in its blend of anime fantasy and comic-book antiheroes.
