## Synopsis

Betty la Fea: The Story Continues (2024-present) is a Colombian national-television soap sequel created by Juan Carlos Pérez, César Betancur, and Marta Betoldi for Prime Video. Ana María Orozco returns as Beatriz Betty Pinzón Solano, now a wiser and more self-assured woman working to rebuild her strained relationship with her teenage daughter Mila, played by Juanita Molina. Her romance with Don Armando, played by Jorge Enrique Abello, begins to unravel, pushing her to question a decision she made twenty years earlier. Around her, Lorna Cepeda as Patricia Fernández and Natalia Ramírez as Marcela Valencia supply the rivalries, loyalties and ambitions that drive each episode of this continuing story. The series moves through a melodramatic but comedic lens, with the emotional register of a family soap built on heartbreak, reconciliation and mismatched romance. Its episodes are told in the classic telenovela manner, with dramatic reversals and affectionate humor. Fans of Ugly Betty, Yo soy Betty la fea and Jane the Virgin will find familiar pleasures in its blend of romantic misfortune, workplace and household intrigue, and the bittersweet pull of revisiting a beloved heroine. Its three seasons run to thirty episodes in total.
