## Synopsis

Khemjira (2025-present) is a Thai BL supernatural mystery series created by Cali for ONE 31. Khem (Napatsakorn Pingmuang) is a young man doomed by a curse that will claim him at twenty-one, and he flees to a master of ancient magic, the shaman Peem (Harit Buayoi), only to confront ghosts more dangerous than the fate he is running from. Pharan (Harit Buayoi), Jet (Wannakorn Reungrat) and Chan (Matimun Sreeboonrueang) form the close circle of friends and rivals around him, and the female ghost Ramphueng (Ausadaporn Siriwattanakul) emerges as the most powerful threat. The engine of the series is a race against a fixed deadline, with each episode built from haunted village encounters, hidden bonds, and clues that reach back into past lives. Presented as a sixteen-episode run of roughly eighty-minute installments, it plays as one continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format. Its tone blends eerie dread with tender romance, and its theme of destiny and entangled souls gives the ghost scenes emotional weight. Viewers who enjoy the romantic ghost stories of Thai BL, or the reincarnation mysteries of Our Skyy and the folkloric dread of supernatural horror, will find much to savor here. The show is still airing, and its atmosphere is soft-lit and melancholic.
