## Synopsis

Mignon (2023) is a Korean adult animated miniseries created by Lewin and produced by ABJ Company, released through the web platforms Vimeo, LAFTEL and Heavenly. Its twelve episodes, each about five minutes long, follow a vampire medic named Mignon, voiced by Oh Min-hyeok, and Oh Young-one, a wounded young fighter voiced by Kim Min-ju, as their fragile bond develops amid a brutal underground cage fighting world. Min Seung-woo, Jeong Ui-han and Park Joo-gwang voice the gangster, referee and coach who shape the fighters' lives around the ring. The engine of the story is the slow, painful pull between two people who need each other while the violence of the underground keeps pressing in. Each short episode builds mood through injuries, bouts and quiet moments of closeness. The tone is dark, intimate and melancholic, with a supernatural edge and a romance built on longing. Fans of Bloodhounds, Hellsing Ultimate and Hajime no Ippo will find resonance in its blend of vampire mythology, combat and forbidden desire. Viewers drawn to bl and gay romance in a stark, adult animated register will find this compact series a focused and affecting watch.
