## Synopsis

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! (2024) is a Japanese animated fantasy romance series produced by Studio KAI and aired on AT-X, adapted from a light novel. Its single 12-episode season follows Rishe Imgard Wertsner, a duke's daughter who has lived six lives already and restarts each time at her broken engagement. Having worked as a merchant, a maid and a knight, she now craves leisure, yet the prince who killed her in a past life, Arnold Hein, proposes marriage. Rishe agrees to become the bride of an enemy nation's prince to prevent war and finally live to old age. The engine is her effort to dodge catastrophe while carving out a comfortable life in a foreign court full of political maneuvering, wary allies and lingering grudges. Each episode balances court intrigue with playful domestic comedy and flashbacks to earlier lives. The tone is light and witty, warm with romance, and carries a wry sense of accumulated experience. Fans of Re:Zero, Ascendance of a Bookworm and The Eminence in Shadow will find resonance in its reincarnation premise, politically charged fantasy and easygoing heroine.
