## Synopsis

Study Group (2025-present) is a South Korean action comedy drama series created by Lee Jang-hoon for TVING and adapted from a popular webtoon. Minhyun plays Yoon Ga-min, a struggling student at Korea's worst high school who forms a study group while protecting his classmates with his fighting skills. Lee Jong-hyun plays Kim Se-hyeon, Gong Do-yu plays Lee Jun, and Shin Su-hyun plays Lee Ji-woo, each drawn into the group's push to overcome academic challenges and win a spot in college. The engine of the show is a collision between brutal school brawls and the quiet, desperate work of exam preparation, with every episode moving between fights in corridors and cramming sessions. The show is a k-drama built around a rigid, cutthroat academic hierarchy where privilege and rank dictate who succeeds. Its tone is chaotic and cathartic, mixing absurd comedy with a sharp critique of an education system that feels like a battlefield. Viewers who enjoy Itaewon Class, All of Us Are Dead and SKY Castle will find familiar pleasures here, from underdog camaraderie to the pressure of the classroom. The series is currently in its second season, with a run that continues to explore how far its characters will go for a future beyond the school gates.
