## Synopsis

Bad Boy (2024-2025) is an Israeli scripted drama series created by Hagar Ben-Asher and broadcast on HOT3. Across a single eight-episode season, the story follows Dean, a young teenager living with his mother and younger brother, whose ordinary night is shattered when correctional officers storm into his room and haul him out of the house. The engine of the series is his struggle to make sense of a system that has taken him without warning, to survive its rules and to find a way back to the family he has lost. Guy Menaster and Daniel Chen both portray Dean, with Liraz Chamami as Heli, Yishai Lalush as Freddie Soosan, and Bat-Chen Sabag as Keren among the principal players around him. Each episode runs about forty minutes and builds tension through institutional routines, shifting loyalties and the pressure of confinement. Set in contemporary Israel, the show carries a tense, emotionally raw register, balancing moments of tenderness with harsh realism. Viewers drawn to social issue drama and character-driven stories about young people confronting unjust systems will find resonance here, in the vein of The Wire and Juvie. It is a compact limited series that rewards close attention and leaves a lasting sense of unease.
