## Synopsis

Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale (2024) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created by Baek Mi-kyoung for TVING. Shin Jae-rim (Pyo Ye-jin) wants a modern Cinderella life of luxury and leisure, and she sets her sights on Moon Cha-min (Lee Jun-young), the polished boss who happens to be engaged to another woman. Her pursuit plays out across the workplace and the social circles around it, with rivals, friends and family adding comic friction to each episode. The ten-episode run is a single continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format, moving through schemes, misunderstandings and small emotional turns. Set in contemporary Seoul, it balances breezy office comedy with a sweeter question about whether happiness comes from marrying wealth or from knowing oneself. The tone is light, witty and warm, with romance at its center and a hopeful, cozy atmosphere throughout. Fans of Crash Landing on You, Business Proposal and Something in the Rain will find resonance in its class-crossing romance and playful Korean television style.
