## Synopsis

Everything Now (2023) is a British single-season teen drama and comedy created by Ripley Parker for Netflix. Sophie Wilde plays Mia Polanco, a sixteen-year-old emerging from months of recovery for an eating disorder, who builds a bucket list of quintessential teen experiences to make up for lost time. Her engine is the awkward, funny, and fragile work of reentering school life in London while friends such as Becca, played by Lauryn Ajufo, and the boys Cameron, Will, and Alex, played by Harry Cadby, Noah Thomas, and Sam Reuben, pull her into parties, crushes, and mishaps. Each episode is built around one item on the list, so the show moves through a sequence of small adventures that carry real weight about body image, relapse risk, and the pressure to appear fine. The tone mixes bright, playful comedy with a quieter undercurrent of vulnerability, and its friendships are where the warmth lives. Fans of Euphoria, Sex Education and Fleabag will find resonance in its frank teen perspective and its blend of humor with emotional honesty. The series ran for eight episodes and was canceled after its first season.
