## Synopsis

Where's Wanda? (2024-2026) is a German dark comedy mystery series created by Oliver Lansley and Zoltan Spirandelli and produced by UFA Fiction for Apple TV. After the daughter of the Klatt family goes missing, the bumbling parents Carlotta Klatt (Heike Makatsch) and Dedo Klatt (Axel Stein) take matters into their own hands, hatching a wild plan to spy on their own neighborhood. Their children Ole Klatt (Leo Simon) and Wanda Klatt (Lea Drinda) are drawn into the chaos as the family makes its way into small-time espionage. Detective Michelle Rauch (Nikeata Thompson) pursues the case from the official side while neighbors such as Katarina Vinson (Palina Rojinski) and Jonas Vinson (Kostja Ullmann) become suspects in a wider web. The series is a two-season, sixteen-episode run in which each episode builds the engine of the investigation through nosy surveillance, misread clues, and escalating schemes. Its tone is breezy and sardonic, with a dark undertow of anxiety about a family accused of murder. Fans of Desperate Housewives, Fargo and Arrested Development will find resonance in its suburban nosiness and bumbling family dynamics.
