## Synopsis

Casi Ángeles (2007-2010) is an Argentine teen musical drama series created by Cris Morena for Telefe. Following a group of kids who are abused and exploited, the story turns when Cielo (Emilia Attías) and Nico (Nicolás Vázquez) arrive to change their lives. Their bond drives the romance, while Barto (Alejo Garcia Pintos), Tina (Julia Calvo) and Mar (Lali Espósito) add friendship, rivalry and loyalty. Peter Lanzani and Eugenia Suárez round out the principal cast. Each episode blends soap melodrama with songs, choreography and competitions, so the emotional beats often arrive through performance. Across four seasons the series keeps a continuing storyline, with time travel adding a fantastical layer to the teen romance and adventure. The result is a bright, sincere, sometimes heavy series that mixes hope and escapism. Fans of Rebelde, High School Musical and Glee will find resonance in its youthful energy, melodrama and musical heart.
