## Synopsis

Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers (1989-1990) is an American animated comedy series created for Disney Channel and syndication, produced by Disney Television Animation. Chip (voiced by Tress MacNeille) and Dale (voiced by Corey Burton), two mischievous chipmunks, lead a small, eccentric team of animal characters who monitor both the human world and the animal community, solving mysteries wherever they surface. Their engine is simple and charming: the Rescue Rangers take the cases that fall through the cracks, from missing belongings to wrongdoing nobody official will chase, and each episode is a self-contained caper built around quick wits, gadgets, and bickering teamwork. Monterey Jack, voiced by Jim Cummings and Peter Cullen, adds a rugged, warm presence to the group, while Alan Oppenheimer and Carol Channing voice recurring rogues and allies who give the villains personality. The show runs for three seasons and about sixty-five episodes of twenty-two minutes each, making it a case-of-the-week format built for younger viewers. Its tone is breezy, wholesome, and cheerfully silly, with a nostalgic Disney Afternoon glow. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, Tale Spin, and Gargoyles will find the same mix of kid-friendly adventure, gentle humor, and team camaraderie.
