## Synopsis

The Twilight Zone (2002-2003) is a United States revival horror anthology series created by Rod Serling for UPN. Forest Whitaker hosts and narrates each self-contained episode as a guide through uncanny tales, appearing on screen in the manner of Serling's original 1950s and 1960s series. Guest actors including Eriq La Salle, Marisol Nichols, Usher, Cloris Leachman and Christopher McDonald headline individual stories, each following ordinary people who wander into eerie, supernatural situations and face the consequences of their choices. The engine of each installment is a fresh premise, a moral trap and a closing reversal rather than a continuing storyline. The single season of 43 episodes runs about 21 minutes each and stays grounded in suspenseful, surreal atmosphere. Its tone blends eerie unease with a cautionary, sometimes wry register. Viewers who enjoy the classic Twilight Zone, Black Mirror and Tales from the Crypt will find familiar pleasures here, though the revival is remembered as less consistent than its predecessors.
