## Synopsis

Re:Monster (2024-present) is a Japanese anime isekai series produced by Studio Deen and aired on TOKYO MX, adapted from a light novel. After an untimely death, Tomokui Kanata wakes up reincarnated as a lowly goblin carrying the memories of his former life. His new ability lets him grow stronger the more he feeds, so his feeble status changes quickly as he works his way up to goblin leader. The engine of the series is his appetite and ambition: he must survive hostile monsters and rivals in a fantasy world while building a community around him. Episodes are self-contained adventures within a continuing story, and the show runs across two seasons. Voice work from Takuya Sato as Gobrou and Kenta Hosoda as Gobkichi anchors its goblin ensemble. The tone is irreverent and playful, with dark comedy about monstrous hunger and a sly sense of humor, in the vein of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Konosuba for fans of isekai power fantasy.
